HAVEN is exactly what it means: an oasis for our guests and a safe place for our «family», the trainees and staff. Located in the heart of Siem Reap, but away from the hustle and bustle of Pub Street, we offer you a beautiful haven to relax and indulge.

While enjoying a dish from our special selection of flavourful Asian and Western food – including some Swiss specialities and many fresh vegetarian tidbits – you are supporting our training programme and are thereby helping a young adult orphan to achieve a secure and independent future.

03/24/2013 | Annual Leave and Student Training

HAVEN will stay closed from April 13th to May 14th 2013, for our annual leave and for the extra training weeks for our students. We will be back open on Wednesday, May 15th 2013. Thank you for your understanding.

02/17/2013 | Giant Puppet Street Parade - we are closed

We are all very excited about the Giant Puppet Street Parade this Saturday, Feb 23rd and have decided that we will stay closed all day and go to the parade with the whole HAVEN Family instead. You should too, it's going to be spectacular! See you there.

01/13/2013 | Student Training

Starting Wednesday, January 23rd, HAVEN will stay closed during the day every Wednesday, for our student training. We will then always open for dinner at 5.30pm. On all other opening days our opening hours stay unchanged.

01/04/2013 | New Kitchen Working Hours

Please note that as of today, our kitchen has following new opening times: 11.30am to 3pm and 5.30pm to 9.30pm. See you for lunch or dinner!

11/30/2012 | Fun Family Outing

Last Tuesday we stayed closed for another one of our HAVEN Family outings. We had a fun day out, first watching «Ratatouille» at the movies (everyone laughing their heads off), then playing minigolf at Angkor Wat Putt (discovering new talents) and finishing off the day with a great meal and great cause at the Green Star. Certainly a day to remember!

Forget everything you know or think to know about rice wine. Sombai is the latest fusion of Creole and Khmer culture into a delicious infused rice spirit. It is 100% made in Siem Reap and comes in 8 different flavours. We have them all here at HAVEN and look forward to serve and surprise you with this wonderful beverage!

Yummy times at HAVEN, with our wonderful new dishes!!! Treat yourself with our Fish Filet on Green Mango and Potatoes, Soba Noodles with Beef or Creamy Mushroom Stroganoff (just to mention a few) and finish off your meal with one of our new and to-die-for desserts, like our Chocolate Cake, Swiss Pie or Oreo Cheesecake!

09/05/2012 | New Training Year has started

Last Monday the new training year at HAVEN started, with four new trainees in the kitchen and one in the front. The kids are all very eager to learn and look so cute in their new uniforms which they wear with a lot of pride. This first week has been very exciting for all of us and we look forward to an interesting and instructive year.

We're over the moon about our first two trainees Chhao & Samnang, who successfully finished the first HAVEN training year. Well done boys! You more than deserve the certificate! And we are very lucky to have and keep you in our HAVEN Family!
